Our world changes every day and people change with the world. At the same time, people are asking for more new means of communication.
One of these means of communication is social networks. They have became a part of a new reality and new global world. They’ve opened almost limitless possibilities for human interaction and communication between people.
As well as that, social networks help people to find like-minded people in the vast expanses of the earth. Especially, they help people who have some disabilities and people who are modest. By using social networks people can speak to the world. Additionally, the problem of loneliness which has been around for years, has been solved. Just because of millions of people who have a chat with them and become their ‘online’ friends.
However, the life in social networks is completely real: emotions which people are feeling during the chat and outside the computer screens are absolutely identical.
Often, the internet communication is more sincere because people can easily express their opinion about any questions or their feelings, rather than in real life. So, it doesn’t mean that ‘online users’ can’t feel genuine emotions.
On the other hand, social networks make us less sociable. For example, I’ve got some friends who are obsessed with social networks like Facebook. While we are talking or having lunch together, they keep on checking the newsfeed”. The problem is that they don’t notice how it looks from the other side. There are no real conversations anymore.
The “online” users are doing their damnedest to get more “likes” on Facebook and that fact makes me upset because people have stopped looking for inner beauty. They just want to be together with someone who has lots of likes and friends on Fb.
In the end, social networks are good things. However, it is important to remember to use them wisely and not to forget to spend most of your time with ‘real’ friends!
